CHIEF COACH & CONSULTANT

Ximena is a consultant, facilitator and coach who combines her creativity and systems-thinking with her passion for social justice to support teams and organizations on their journeys and through transitions.  Over the past decade, Ximena has worked with immigrant communities as well as other communities of color and LGBTQ people across the country in accessing resources in entrepreneurship, employment, housing, financial education and more.  Ximena also enjoys co-creating spaces where people build community while fostering reflection, learning and growth through retreats, festivals and conferences.

Most recently, Ximena’s focus has been on collaborating with organizations and their leadership teams in projects that support the infrastructure and sustainability of teams in times of transitions. Under HR, Operations & Finance, they have helped create customized systems to strengthen hiring processes, streamline internal operations including annual budget reviews and routine financial audits. Under organizational development, Ximena has developed a number of trainings to build the internal capacity of individuals in the areas of leadership, facilitation and communication skills. Ximena has also designed and facilitated strategic planning sessions with governing boards, cooperatives and leadership teams as well as provided coaching to front-line staff, managers, directors and executives.

 

Since Ximena launched her own consulting business in 2015, she has partnered with organizations like the San Francisco LGBT Center, Good Samaritan FRC, Immigrants Rising, Prospera, Wonder for Good, New America, Greater Cincinnati Foundation, Calle 24 Latino Cultural District, and the LeadersTrust.
